Lianna and Delvin were the first couple I ever photographed when I started my business! Every year I have been blessed to photograph them and this time it was for their wedding!!! I don’t even know where to start except to say that I’m so incredibly lucky to have met these two! Their wedding was in the Grande Prairie Art Gallery followed by the reception in Teresa Sargent Hall. Everything on their wedding day turned out so perfectly. When I walked in to see Lianna in the morning she was so calm and more than anything just excited to get the day going. Perhaps a lot of the calmness was that we had got to know one another so well over the years and trust one another or maybe she’s just that chill! Either way it made the day incredibly relaxing and emotional since I know these two so well.
They decided that with their busy schedules it would be best to hire a wedding planner and decorator. They could not have chosen a better one… my good friend Melissa with Pierre and Co. I was so excited when I heard that I would be working along Melissa’s side on their day!
Their catering was done by Jeffrey’s Café and this was the first time I had heard of family style. You are probably wondering what is that? Well it is when the caterer brings each table large servings of the meal courses and puts it in the centre for that table to just serve themselves with out having to wait in line at a buffet, wait for seconds and ultimately for me it meant stuffing my face without being judged by the amount of times I filled my plate haha! Enter dessert time and it was even better… especially since it was just Melissa, my second shooter and myself at a table.
