I have spent the last 7 years learning and growing my photography business. While I still educate myself consistently I also have a passion to teach. With an education background, I break down the complex stuff that was so overwhelming and daunting to me when I started and make it so much easier to learn! I love to get creative and just really have fun with this job and I’m so excited to hear about what got you into this wonderful venture! Whether you are a mom who just wants to take better pictures of your kids or a hobbyist wanting to get more into a business this is for you!

I have 3 options for mentoring starting with a basic session to a more advanced session that can take place over a month (or two if you need it!).

Collection 1 – $225 plus tax

This is a 1.5 hour one on one Q and A style session. We can meet up at my place, for coffee or meet over Skype. In the 1,5 hour session, we will cover whatever it is that you are wanting to learn. Perhaps you want to learn how to use your camera, advice on gear, business advice, editing, posing, branding, website, marketing, image critiques… you name it. This session is for someone who is a beginner or is wanting to focus on one specific area of interest related to photography.

Collection 2 – $500 plus tax

This is a more lengthy session (4 hours) where we will incorporate a live shoot at the end of your standard mentoring. This takes the basic learning skills to another level such as learning to pose, shoot in different situations and apply editing techniques. Depending on what you are interested in learning we will have the shoot around that. If it is product photography I will arrange for that type of shoot, if you are into posing couples or families I will arrange for a session with that (weddings excluded). These 4 hours do not have to be done consecutively over 1 day. We will discuss the best scheduling option for yourself. This is aimed towards the beginner photographer wanting to jump in and focus on more than just a standard starting point.

Collection 3 – $750 plus tax

This session is 8 hours total which again may be spanned out over a month or two for you or we can do it all in a day, whichever is best! This is for someone who is looking for it all. A beginner photographer and business session all in one where you learn stuff that has taken me 7 years to learn! You will be provided with a workbook that will have everything from shooting in manual, editing, posing and business related items. We will put aside time during these 8 hours to do a shoot of your interest as well (weddings excluded).
